Town on the lake characterized by its peninsula shape and structure that extends into the lake with approximately 3,000 inhabitants.

It is renowned for its beaches which surround the entire peninsula for over 3 km and which can be accessed via a wonderful cycle and pedestrian lakeside promenade, which runs along the entire lakefront and its tourist ports.

A tourist country ideal for practicing water sports: swimming, sailing, wind surfing, kite surfing, canoeing, fishing…

Dervio is also an ideal place to access renowned treks that can be done on foot or by mountain bike such as the Sentiero del Viandante, a historic path that runs along the entire eastern shore of the lake for over 40 km, the treks of Val Varrone, of Legnoncino (1710 mt .), Mount Legnone (2610 mt.) and Muggiasca.

Also an ideal point for excursions to the center of the lake where you can visit the towns of Bellano. Varenna, Bellagio and Menaggio with the historic villas on the lake.

It is about 70 km from Milan and the city’s major airports, 40 km from Lugano, and can be reached by car, train or lake.
